The term "clear bra" originally came from early PPF applications that only covered the front end of the vehicle, similar to a bra. Today's PPF technology has advanced significantly and can now cover the entire vehicle.

Yes — when installed and removed correctly by a professional, PPF comes off cleanly without damaging your paint. In fact, the paint underneath is often in better condition than an unprotected vehicle's paint of the same age. We always recommend professional removal to avoid any risk.

For the first week after installation, avoid washing your vehicle, exposing it to extreme conditions, or picking at the film edges. After that, regular washing is fine — just avoid high-pressure jets directly at the film edges. You can wax or use a ceramic spray over PPF, and we recommend a pH-neutral car soap to keep the film in top shape.
